The "Dirty Dozen" 12 Habits That May Extend Your Life By Dennis J. Henson

Eight years ago, my health hit rock bottom. I suffered a devastating series of seven strokes.

Lying in a hospital bed, facing a terrifying and rapid physical decline, I had a choice to make. I could accept my fate, or I could fight back. I set a non-negotiable goal right then and there: I was going to stop the decline, totally recover, and completely reclaim my Health and Longevity.

I knew it wouldn't happen overnight. To rebuild my body, I researched, tested, and eventually developed a comprehensive 39-Point Protocol of specific, healthy habits. I didn't rush it. I added them to my daily routine one at a time, only moving to the next once I had mastered the last.

Today, my mission is to teach others what these habits are and how to easily put them in place so you can avoid going through the hardship I experienced.

But whenever I share this system, the number one question I get asked is always the same: "Dennis, of those 39 habits, which ones are the absolute most important?"

The "Dirty Dozen"

I went back through my protocol and pulled out the 12 specific habits that had the absolute biggest impact on my recovery. By taking the time and making the effort to form the following habits, you'll be giving your body the opportunity it needs to work at its full capacity — and to beat back the things that are waiting to destroy your health.

1

Positive Mental Attitude

Your recovery and longevity start in the mind.

2

Sleep

The critical window where your body does its most powerful healing.

3

Flushing toxins and keeping your cellular engines running smoothly.

4

Fueling your body with what it recognizes and can actually use.

5

Keeping the cardiovascular system strong and the body moving.

6

Bridging the nutritional gaps in our modern food supply.

7

Fasting

Giving your digestive system a break to promote cellular clean-up.

8

9

10

11

12

Human Interaction

The proven power of community and connection on a long life.

If you are feeling overwhelmed by your health, don't try to change everything at once. Start here. Pick one of these twelve, master it, and then move to the next.
